Music and Daffy

I remember growing up with bugs and daffy. I think that the two of them were my introduction to classical music. I think they are also the reason why I like it so much. So many happy memories and too numerous of laughs to count. I saw this video and just had to share it. It brings back boyish laughter.

Liza

Upon a recommendation, I recently watched the movie "Love Liza." Philip Seymour Hoffman quickly became my favorite supporting actor for his roles in Punch-Drunk Love, Magnolia, and numerous other films. He is by far one of the most versatile and expressive actors that I have seen. In the movie "Love Liza" he plays a husband mourning the loss of his wife, she committed suicide. The movie explores the depth of his loss and the every day dealings with his life. It is a extremely moving and thought provoking movie. The most impressive acting I have ever seen is when the actor/actress makes you feel the emotions that they do.

About a month ago I had the pleasure of hiking one of my favorite portions of the smokeys. It was amazingly void of life, human in nature. There is something so serene about a mountain to yourself. Maybe it is the lack of the big city and the commotion. I know it is not because of the lack of things going on. Have you ever just sat there and tried to see if you could experience everything going on in front of you? Very weird feeling, I guess perhapses it is the difference between looking and seeing. Something that I do not do enough.

On a completely different side of things (or maybe not)- Insert noise that fish make.
